In Week 3 of our Battle Ready series, we explored what it truly means to be Spirit Strong—not just filled with the Spirit for personal growth, but empowered to carry out Jesus’ mission in the world around us.

Drawing from Luke 10, Pastor Doug taught that being “Battle Ready” means stepping into our Kingdom mandate as followers of Jesus:

• Go where God sends you

• Heal the sick and broken

• Proclaim the nearness of God’s Kingdom

Jesus didn’t just instruct the 72 disciples to talk about the Kingdom—He sent them out to demonstrate it with Spirit-led authority and compassion.

“The Kingdom of God is not just a message we carry—it’s a reality we reveal.”

This week, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit isn’t given for survival, but for impact. We’re not called to hide from darkness—we’re sent to bring light.
