Built Through Love - week 3 part 2

On Sunday, May 17, we return to our BUILD UP: Sunday Strength for the Body of Christ series with Built Through Love, Part 2.

In Part 1, we walked through 1 Corinthians 13:1–7 and saw that love keeps the person bigger than the gift. Without love, gifts become noise; through love, gifts build the body.

In Part 2, we will continue through the second half of 1 Corinthians 13, where Paul reminds us that our gifts are real, but they are also partial. We know in part. We prophesy in part. We are still growing into maturity.

This message will help us see why love is the atmosphere that keeps spiritual gifts humble, healthy, and trustworthy. If we are going to be a church that welcomes the power of the Holy Spirit, we must also become a people who carry that power with patience, humility, maturity, and love.

The door is open. Invite a friend and come grow with us as we continue becoming a house where the Love of God is alive, gifts are healthy, and the Body of Christ is built up together.

The Love that Builds the House - Mother’s day

This Sunday, May 10, we are celebrating Mother’s Day at LifeHouse with a special message called The Love That Builds the House.

We want to take time to honor the mothers and women of our house — the ones who nurture, strengthen, pray, lead, serve, encourage, and carry so much love in seen and unseen ways. Whether you are a mother, spiritual mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, mentor, friend, or a woman faithfully building the lives around you, we want to bless and encourage you.

We will also have a special gift for the mothers as a small expression of our love and gratitude.

Come worship with us, invite a friend, and join us as we celebrate the love that builds the house.

Built Through Love - week 2 part 1

This Sunday at LifeHouse Church, we continue our BUILD UP series with Week 2: Built Through Love.

Together, we’ll dive into 1 Corinthians 13 and discover that love is not a break in Paul’s teaching on spiritual gifts — it is the very heart of it. Without love, even the most impressive spiritual expressions become noise. But through love, the gifts become life-giving, healing, and strengthening to the Body of Christ.

At LifeHouse, we believe there’s no Life without Love. We are learning to be a people who are personal, practical, and powerful — caring deeply, serving faithfully, and inviting the presence of God with humility. This week will help us see how love creates the atmosphere where people are known, gifts are matured, and the church is built up together.

The door is open to you.
Come worship with us, bring a friend, and grow with us as we become a house where the Love of God is alive.

Built for the Body - week 1

Join us for BUILD UP,

a new sermon series through 1 Corinthians 12, 13, and 14 as we explore spiritual gifts, love, prophecy, and what it means to build a healthy church. At LifeHouse, we believe we are called to be the house of Jesus—caring personally, serving practically, and living powerfully—and this series is designed to help us grow in that calling together.

We want to build real relationships, gather with expectation, and open the door for people to find belonging, purpose, and transformation in Christ.

We begin with Week 1: Built for the Body. This opening message lays the foundation for the whole arc by showing that source matters, diversity is God’s design, and the gifts of the Spirit are given for the common good.

Paul’s vision is not a church of performance, pressure, or uniformity, but a body where every member matters and every grace strengthens someone else. Invite a friend and grow with us as we walk through this journey of becoming a stronger, more connected, more Spirit-dependent church.

Water Baptisms at LifeHouse Church

This Sunday at LifeHouse Church, we’re stepping into a powerful moment of faith, celebration, and new beginnings.

Water baptism is more than a moment—it’s a public declaration of a transformed life in Christ. It’s a step of obedience, a fresh commitment, and a beautiful expression of what God is doing on the inside, now made visible on the outside.

Following an incredible Easter where many encountered Jesus, we’re creating space to celebrate those who are saying “yes” to Him—and we believe there are more who are ready.

Whether you’ve recently given your life to Christ, or you’ve been walking with Him and sense it’s time for a fresh step of surrender, this is your moment.

At LifeHouse, we believe in opening the door—making space for people to encounter the Love of God in a real and life-changing way.
This Sunday is one of those moments.

Come expectant.
Come ready.
Come celebrate.

And if that step is yours to take—we’re ready to celebrate with you.

The Burning Heart: My pain, His story, my gold, His glory

The Burning Heart
My pain, His story, my gold, His glory.

What if the moments that felt like loss were actually part of a greater story? In Luke 24, two travelers walk the road to Emmaus carrying disappointment, confusion, and unanswered questions—until Jesus meets them right in the middle of it. As He opens the Scriptures and breaks bread, their hearts begin to burn, and everything changes.

This message is an invitation to move beyond knowing about Jesus and into truly encountering Him. When we place our pain into His story, what once felt broken can be transformed into something meaningful—refined into gold and used for His glory.

March 15 – A Story of Foundation & Formation

Bryce & Juliette

Great relationships are not built by accident—they are formed through intention, discipleship, and a commitment to grow.

On March 15, Bryce and Juliette share their story of foundation and formation as they prepare for marriage. Their journey is one of honesty, growth, and learning how God shapes two lives into one covenant relationship.

This story highlights the power of discipleship, mentorship, and the courage it takes to build a relationship on truth, faith, and a strong spiritual foundation.

It’s a reminder that God is not only concerned with where we end up—but with who we are becoming along the way.

March 8 – A Story of Rescue & Adoption

Matt, Maggie & Micah

Some stories reveal the heart of God in ways that words alone cannot.

On March 8, Matt and Maggie shared the beautiful story of Micah’s adoption—a story of rescue, faith, and a love that began long before a courtroom ever made it official.

Their journey reflects the deeper story God tells throughout Scripture: that He rescues, welcomes, and adopts us into His family.

Through uncertainty, waiting, and incredible joy, this story reminds us that love often begins long before we see the full picture.

It’s a powerful glimpse of the heart of adoption, both in family and in the Kingdom of God.

A Story of Restoration

Val & Elva

Every life carries a story, and sometimes the most powerful chapters are the ones where God restores what seemed broken.

On March 1, we heard the story of Val and Elva—a story of restoration, grace, and God’s ability to rebuild what life has worn down. Through honesty, perseverance, and faith, their journey reveals how God works in the middle of real struggles and real relationships.

Their story reminds us that restoration is not just something God did long ago—it’s something He is still doing today.

At LifeHouse Church, we believe the love of God is alive and actively restoring lives, families, and hearts. Come hear how God writes redemption into ordinary lives.

Stewarding What God Is Building

There are seasons when the question isn’t, “What is the vision?”
It’s, “How do we faithfully steward what God is already building?”

In this message, we explore how God gives vision — and how we respond with clarity, gratitude, and faith. Some seasons are about growth. Others are about strengthening foundations. Learning the difference changes everything.

This isn’t about striving harder.
It’s about stewarding better.

If you’re looking for a church that honors God’s pace, values faithfulness, and believes the best is built over time — we invite you to join us.

This Sunday, Andrew Harrington will be sharing the heart and vision of LifeHouse Church—who we are, why we exist, and how we live together.

In a world filled with noise, pressure, and surface-level connection, LifeHouse is becoming a place marked by authentic presence, Spirit-led wisdom, and genuine love. We believe God is forming a kind of community where people don’t have to pretend, perform, or hide—where they can be seen, known, and restored.

Series: Formed to move- week 4 “Formed to Walk”

Formed to Walk: Stewarding the Abiding Presence

What if the goal of spiritual growth isn’t chasing moments—but learning how to walk with God faithfully?

In the final message of the Formed to Move series, we turn our attention to what happens after recognition. Drawing from John 1:33–39, we explore the profound difference between the Spirit descending and the Spirit remaining. John the Baptist didn’t just recognize what God was doing—he stewarded it with humility, obedience, and trust.

This message invites us to consider how formation prepares us to recognize the work of the Holy Spirit, and how faithful obedience teaches us to walk in a way that honors His ongoing presence. Rather than striving for intensity or isolated experiences, we are called to cultivate a life that welcomes the Spirit to remain—producing lasting fruit, steady growth, and empowered living.

If you’re longing for a faith that moves beyond moments into meaningful progress, this message offers clarity, encouragement, and a vision for walking with God over the long haul.

(Formed to Move · Week 3)

At LifeHouse Church, our vision is to be the first house people run to every time… a place of refuge, care, and belonging where the Love of God is experienced and lived out.

Formed to Stand (Finishing Strong — Not Perfect)

What if faithfulness matters more than speed?

In Week 3 of Formed to Move, we look at the often-overlooked discipline of standing—remaining faithful when the process feels slow and the path feels quiet. Through the life of John the Baptist and the wisdom of James, we discover that spiritual maturity is formed over time, not in moments of hype or intensity.

This message isn’t about perfection.
It’s about finishing strong—with character, integrity, and steady trust in God.

If you’re weary, waiting, or wondering whether you’re behind, this message offers reassurance, perspective, and hope.

How do you know it’s really God?

Many of us wrestle with decision-making—not because we don’t love God, but because we don’t want to miss Him. In Week 2 of Formed to Move, we explore biblical discernment—how God shapes wisdom over time and confirms direction through more than feelings or impulse.

Drawing from Scripture, lived experience, and the principle of converging witness, this message helps us learn how to trust God’s voice with clarity, humility, and confidence.

(Formed to Move · Week 1)

At LifeHouse Church, our vision is to be the first house people run to every time… a place of refuge, care, and belonging where the Love of God is experienced and lived out.

In today’s message, How We Begin, we explored the truth that the direction of our lives is shaped not by intention, but by obedience. Drawing from James 1 and Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7, we were reminded that strong foundations are not built by hearing alone—but by putting God’s Word into practice.

This message launches our new series, Formed to Move, calling us to begin this season with clarity and alignment. Rather than chasing hype or intensity, we are invited into a faith that is personal, practical, and powerful—one faithful step of obedience at a time. Because real formation happens when what we hear becomes how we live.

The Power of Thankfulness - The Journey of Joseph Pt 8 - (Copy)

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY – Part 8 of our Joseph Series: “The Power of Thankfulness”

This Sunday we’re doing something beautifully different at LifeHouse.
Before the message, we’ll gather around tables for a free breakfast at 10:00 AM — a time to connect, share stories, meet new friends, and enjoy the warmth of community.

After breakfast, we’ll continue our Joseph series with a special message on Thankfulness.
From Genesis 45–50 we see a remarkable pattern in Joseph’s life:
Even after betrayal, hardship, and long seasons of waiting, Joseph chose to view his story through the lens of God’s goodness. Thankfulness became the key that unlocked healing, restoration, and blessing.

We believe that same truth is for us today — thankfulness changes the way we see our lives, our pain, and our purpose.

We’ll finish the morning with a powerful time of worship as we respond in gratitude for everything God has done and everything He is still writing into our stories.

Schedule

  • 10:00 AM – Breakfast + Community

  • 10:50 AM – Message: “The Power of Thankfulness”

  • 10:55 AM – Worship & Ministry

You’re invited.

Whether you’re part of LifeHouse already or maybe you’ve been searching for a church family — we would love to have you with us.

Come hungry.
Come expectant.
Come ready to remember God’s goodness.

Sermon Series: God Meant It for Good — The Journey of Joseph

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we continue our powerful journey through the life of Joseph in our series, “God Meant It For Good.” Part 7 where God rewrites our story.

This week we’ll explore the turning point in Joseph’s story—where pain meets purpose, and where years of confusion, betrayal, and injustice begin to make sense under the hand of a faithful God. Joseph’s story teaches us that even when circumstances don’t look hopeful, God is still at work behind the scenes, shaping our character, healing our wounds, and preparing us for what He has prepared for us.

You may be walking through a season that feels uncertain or unresolved — but just like Joseph, your story is not over.
God is still writing.
God is still redeeming.
God is still good.

Come ready to be encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that your present chapter is not your final one.
