Built With Clarity- week 6

June 7 — Build with Clarity

1 Corinthians 14:6–25

In the second movement of 1 Corinthians 14, Paul teaches that spiritual sound must become understandable sound if it is going to build the church.

Paul is not against tongues. He is for the body being built. He uses the images of instruments, languages, and a trumpet call to show that unclear sound may be real, but it does not help the room respond. In the gathered church, love asks, “Can people understand? Can they say amen? Can they be strengthened?”

This message will help us understand tongues, interpretation, clarity, and why intelligibility matters when the Spirit is moving among the people of God.

Big idea: A spiritual sound still needs to become a clear sound if it is going to build the room.
